Workshop: NSF Research Funding Forum for Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences

On Monday, 6 June, CSU Long Beach is hosting a research grant information workshop with guest speaker Dr. Kellina M. Craig-Henderson, Deputy Director for Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences (SBE) at the National Science Foundation.
Topics will include an overview of NSF funding opportunities with an emphasis on the SBE sciences as well as NSF-wide programs to support research for career investigators, post docs, graduate and undergraduate students.
After the workshop, a Research Meet-Up will follow allowing attendees from across disciplines and institutions to network, discuss research interests, and identify potential opportunities for collaboration. Lunch will be provided.
The day's program starts at 9:30am and will end at about 1:30pm.
Space is limited, so please RSVP to CSULB.ResearchForum@yahoo.com as soon as you can commit to attending. The Research and Sponsored Programs Office will try to arrange to cover mileage costs for those CI faculty who attend and participate. Carpooling in encouraged.
